The Rover


Started a new project, a mobile robot with Mecanum wheels.
The plan is to control all whit a Raspberry Pi 4.

Wanna integrate the electric drive in the wheels, not sure if i can use PCB ones.

First expression, will have more clearance than normal.
The design is like a cross with the platform for the robot.


I decided to move the robot more to the front axis to increase the front reach.


Added the axis and smoothed the profile.


In this step i changed the frame to have more clearance, but the nice X style is gone.
Also i created the first robot impression, 4 axis.


To get a complete picture i created the dummies for the wheels.
Looks not bad.
